Loot Crate is a monthly box, of geek and gamer gear, every month the subscriber receives a box in the mail with an assortment of different items these items are always gamer/geek related. Loot Crate promises the subscriber to receive a box of “Loot” every month with at least a $40 value. A month subscription is about $20 that’s with shipping and handling fees, a three month subscription is roughly $60, a six month subscription runs about $113 and last but not least a full year subscription will run $215. So with all these different prices being thrown around it makes me question is Loot Crate worth your hard earned cash?
Well let’s begin with what you receive in your crate every month each month there’s a different theme which gives the subscriber some sort of idea of what they will receive, this month theme is unite which seems like some sort of superhero theme most likely due to the release of “Age of Ultron” some pass themes have been fantasy, rewind and covert. The items will correlate to the theme, I’ll put an unboxing video and some images showing off some of the neat things that people received in last month’s crate. The theme was fantasy so each item was related to that theme. Personal I like the themes that the Loot Crate team puts together every month, I enjoy this very much it allows me to take some guesses of what items I’ll be receiving in my mail box every month.
So with all of these goodies you can get each month is it really worth the price tag? Would it be cheaper to buy all of these items individually? The short answer is yes its 100% worth the money I mean you can’t really ask for anything better than this. If you are avid collector of geeky items like myself then it’s a great resource to get many of the items you’re looking for, also loot crate has many exclusive items that can’t be purchased in stores making these items more valuable to collectors. The best perk I think that you get with subscribing to Loot Crate is you don’t have to go out and purchase anything, it all gets delivered to your mail box and that’s great for someone like myself who works often and doesn’t have much free time to go run to stores and purchase these items individually. If you’re interested in subscribing to Loot Crate I would recommend doing a month subscription its $20 you can’t go wrong give it a try I believe it’s totally worth the money!

Pokémon Rumble World is similar to its predecessors, by having a very basic gameplay mechanic, this game is great for a younger audience to pick up and play, although the game does start to lose its touch after 20 minutes of gameplay. For us older gamers and long lived fans of the Pokémon series this game doesn’t have much to offer, the premise of the game is to control cute toy Pokémon in order to collect all 710 species of Pokémon. The story isn’t anything special you play as your mii character and you’re ordered by a king to start collecting as many Pokémon as you can, that’s pretty much the entire plot of this game however you are given daily challenges to complete which makes the story slightly more entertaining, but it’s not about the story, the game is about collecting your toy pocket monster.
Continuing, the gameplay consist of playing as a toy Pokémon and using them to attack other toy Pokémon, many of the elements from the main line Pokémon games also come into effect in this game such as type effectiveness, status conditions and level of Pokémon. There’s really only two goals the player has to work towards which is collecting all 710 Pokémon and buying all the items in the shop, the shop offers clothing for your mii and various upgrades for your toy Pokémon, during the game you collect coins which can be used as currency in the shop you also collect poke-diamonds by completing daily challenges you can also obtain these diamonds through the street pass feature, but if you’re feeling good you could also purchase poke-diamonds through the E-shop with real money.
Lastly, the newest mechanic which has just been recently added is, the player can use passwords to unlock Pokémon toys to their game, these Pokémon contain special moves that cannot be unlocked by normal means of gameplay. I will leave the Torchic code in this post so if anyone wants it feel free to download it. This code allows Torchic to gain the moves Flame Charge and Flame Burst enjoy!
Wrapping things up I believe this game is good if you have some time to kill and you’re getting tired of playing super smash brothers on your 3DS, the game isn’t complete garbage it’s just not a game I would invest many hours into, like I said in the beginning of the article I believe this game is great for a younger audience due to its simplicity, however if you’re an older fan you may see it as very boring with a lack of challenge but the game is FREE which makes it totally worth checking out give it a shot see if you enjoy it!
Last week Marvel released the sequel to the beloved blockbuster hit Avengers with Avengers Age of Ultron, this film follows the previous Avengers film by placing our heroes together in the Avengers Tower which Is now the teams new living quarters this tower was seen in the previous avenger’s film, during the first film it was known as Stark Towers Tony has used his money to set up an official headquarters for the Avengers team.
Throughout the film Tony Stark gets his hands on the Cihtauri Scepter better known as Loki’s Staff, which is seen in the first Avengers film. Stark begins studying the staff, he soon discovers the Scepter contains a special power source. Stark believes that this power source can be used to create a powerful AI which will surpass his own personal AI Jarvis. Stark orders Jarvis to run test on the entire staff to discover how to unlock it’s power, eventually the AI awakens and begins to create itself which eventually becomes Ultron, who is the main antagonist in the film.
That’s the main plot behind the story line I can’t say much more without spoiling the film although there are many new heroes and villains that make an appearance in this film making it the best Avengers yet. The action in this film is great each fight scene had me sitting at the edge of my seat with excitement. If you are going to go to the movies this weekend I defiantly recommend this film and give it a 10 out of 10 Remember to stay after the credits as Marvel always has a secret ending at the end of their movies and this ending is a jaw dropper.
